Immortality Series - Nipsey

This portrait of Nipsey Hussle is made from 1,800 hand cut pieces of 1/8” thick stainless steel. The floor stand is built so that the piece is able to be seen from every angle. From the back, the individual pieces are visible, as it is left untouched.

The piece is left as an industrial finish, showcasing his grit and the environment he grew up in. The mirror finish of the eyes shows the path through; the vision he set into motion but was sadly cut short.
